DiagnosisDiagnosis: “Especie perteneciente al grupo albifrons, separable de las demás especies que lo componen por poseer 205-233 dorsales totales, diseño conspícuamente lineado de anchas bandas oscuras dorsales, limitadas por angostas bandas claras zigzagueantes y supraocular próxima a la parte más alta de la primera supralabial. L. diaplocius es cercana a L. rufidorsus TayLoR, de la que se separa por el diseño y el número de dorsales totales; L. rufidorsus presenta una ancha banda longitudinal de 24do escamos de anido 1 ago de sos el diseño reticulado y un máximo de 233 dorsales totales.” (OREJAS-MIRANDA 1969)
