Type locality: Grau Tombes, northern Peru; in error, according to SCHMIDT & WALKER (1943:303), who correct it to Grau, Tumbex, Peru.

EtymologyNamed after Latin succrotilla, thin, slender, delicate. [“...have examined is a single exceedingly attenuated specimen from Peru which I describe as Leptotyphlops subcrotilla...”].
