DiagnosisDiagnosis: Presencia de escamas supraoculares grandes que no contactan con las escamas supralabiales, 12 escamas alrededor de la parte media de la cola. Doscientos cuarenta y tres a 274 escamas dorsales totales y 12 a 32 subcaudales. Dorso de color variado, variando desde totalmente negro, castaño oscuro o gris oscuro acerado, hasta un color crema con siete líneas longitudinales castaño oscuras del mismo ancho de las claras a lo largo del cuerpo. Presencia o ausencia de mancha blanquecina en la escama rostral y en la punta de la cola. Pueden tener la mancha blanca en la escama rostral y no en la cola o viceversa.
