Type locality: Dashte-Kavir Desert, 45 km E of Lake Daryache Namak.

TypesHolotype: MMTT 1671, subadult male, Iran National Museum of Natural History 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: Subocular in contact with edge of mouth; frontal and supraoculars not separated by a complete row of granules; nostril situated among 3 nasals and widely separated from supralabials (Fig. 93); ventrals in 13-14 oblique longitudinal series; series of femoral pores separated by space not greater than one-fourth of one row; supracaudals weakly keeled; fourth toe without long flat projecting scales (Anderson 1999: 212).
