DistributionVenezuela (Chimanta and Auyan Tepuis, Bolivar), Brazil (Roraima fide Costa & Bérnils 2018; Nogueira et al., 2019)

Type locality: Auyantepui, Estado Bolivark, Venezuela.  
Reproductionoviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022) 
TypesHolotype: AMNH 61019, female, collected by W.H. Phelps, on 2 April 1938. Paratype: MBUCV 3049 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: “Especie relacionada con la L. canaima, de la cual se difiere por tener mayor número de dientes maxilares (16+2 a 18+2, contra 10+2 para la última), ojo más grande y 8(4,5) supralabiales (contra 7 (3,4) para L. canaima). Además posee. 171a 175 ventrales y 58 a 59 subcaudales.” (Roze 1958)

EtymologyNamed after the collector of the paratype, P. Trebbau.
