Type locality: northern Australia  
Reproductionoviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022) 
TypesHolotype: BMNH 1946.8.13.74 (provenance of holotype doubtful; no subsequent Australian records of this widely distributed extralimital species). 
Diagnosis 
CommentLygosoma albofasciolatum boettgeri STERNFELD 1918 is a homonym of Lygosoma (Emoa) boettgeri. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin albus = white, and Latin fascia = band, apparently after the light cross-bands on dorsum of this species.
