Diagnosis 
CommentPhylogenetics: Eulamprus leuraensis and certain populations of E. kosciuskoi are paraphyletic (Pepper et al. 2018).

Distribution: see map in Pepper et al. 2018: Fig. 2.

Limb morphology: 5 digits, 5 toes (Singhal et al. 2018, Cogger 2014)

Conservation: 80% of the species’ range was affected by wildfires in Australia (Legge et al. 2023). 
EtymologyNamed after the type locality.
