Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A large species of Eutropis from the Andaman Islands, SVL 125.0–153.7 mm; tail long, about 1.5–2.2 times as long as the body; prefrontals and supranasals in contact with each other; temporals smooth; nuchals in a single pair; tympanic opening relatively large; as large as an adjacent lateral scale, lacking visible auricular lobules; 24–30 midbody scale rows; 40–43 paravertebrals; dorsals tricarinate; anterior genials in contact; posterior genials separated by a single scale; cheeks swollen in adult males; 50–53 ventrals; 27–30 subdigital lamellae on toe IV; dorsum uniform bronze brown with a greenish yellow venter (CHANDRAMOULI & AMARASINGHE 2020: 32). |
