Etymology	Named after L.: balteus, girdle or belt; -atus/a/um, adjectival suffix: girdled, denoting the characteristic lateral yellow-orange coloured bands from the groin to the shoulder (Charles Klaver, pers. comm., 11 Jan 2023).
