DistributionRestricted to Botel Island (= Lanyu, off southern coast of Taiwan), Philippines (Luzon), China

Type locality: Kotosho (= Lanyu Island), Taiwan.

Diagnosis 
CommentSynonymy: Gekko mindorensis has been synonymized with Gekko kikuchii by BAUER (1994).

Distribution: Has been recorded from Pescador Island by KUNTZ & MING (1970) but OTA (1989) considers these records as erroneous. 
EtymologyNamed after Y. Kikuchi (1869-1921), a collector for the Taipei Museum, Taiwan.
