Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A member of the genus Gerrhopilus, distinguishable from other members of this genus by the combination of having an inferior preocular and inferior ocular (sub- ocular), overlap of the third supralabial by only the infe- rior preocular, and overlap of the fourth supralabial by both the inferior preocular and inferior ocular (Wynn 2021).
