Diagnosis | Diagnosis: A small snake with a projecting rounded snout; nostrils lateral; body, slender, elongate, diameter in length about 85 to 90 times; nasal completely divided; 18 longitudinal scalerows around body; rostral approximately three fifths width of head at level of eyes; no tail spine; nasals not touching behind rostral; a subocular present.
