Diagnosis | Diagnosis: This is the only species of Sphenomorphus (sensu Greer 1979) with the following combination of characters: 20-22 midbody scale rows, prefrontal and anterior supraocular in contact (i.e., anterior supraciliary and frontal separated by these two scales), two presuboculars, two infralabials in contact with postmental on each side and 66-89 paravertebral scales (Greer 1985). |
Comment | Most similar to the partially sympatric G. pumilus. Limb morphology: 5 digits, 5 toes (Singhal et al. 2018, Cogger 2014) |
Etymology | The species name cracens is Latin for "graceful," "slender." |
