Type locality: Fazenda Salvamento, Rio Uraricoera, Roraima (03° 20’ N, 61° 24’ W)

TypesHolotype: MZUSP 92598, male 
DiagnosisDiagnosis: All scales smooth. 13 rows of scales around the body; 32-37 transversal rows of scales, from the interparietal to the posterior margin of the thigs; 21-29 ventral rows, from the interbrachial to the anal flap; 11-17 subdigital lamellae in the 4th toe. Upper lip with a with narrow white stripe. Dorsal ground color dark brown with reddish reflections. Two dorsolateral stripes, clear brown, from the posterior edge of the rostral to the root of the tail. Gular region clear in females, reddish in males. Ventrally with dark marbled. The tail is brownish in males, and reddish in females and juveniles (Carvalho 1999, translation by Daniel Vásquez-Restrepo, pers. comm. 26 March 2021).
