| Diagnosis | Diagnosis: Large-bodied gecko of the genus Hemidactylus reaching SVL of 103 mm, dorsum with heterogeneous pholidosis, composed of circular, granular scales intermixed with much regularly arranged 17–18 rows of enlarged trihedral, strongly keeled tubercles of equal size on the dorsolateral aspect; 32–34 ventral scale rows at midbody. Digits with enlarged scansors, lamellae in straight transverse series; 7–8 lamellae beneath the first finger and 10 beneath the fourth finger of the manus and pes. Precloacal-femoral pores 14–15, separated by a diastema at the mid-pelvic region by 11 non-pored scales. (PAL et al. 2022) |
