Diagnosis 
CommentDistribution: Ramanad (or Ramnad), and the Madura District are in India, not Sri Lanka.

EtymologyNamed after Latin scaběre = scratching, or the adjective scaber, scabra = rough, referring to the rough surface or skin, including keeled scales, and Latin -ceps, for head.
