Diagnosis
Comment	Heteroliodon torquatus has been synonymized with H. occipitalis by RAXWORTHY & NUSSBAUM (1994). Type species: Pseudoxyrhopus occipitalis BOULENGER 1896: 613 is the type species of the genus Heteroliodon BOETTGER 1913.
