TypesHolotype: CZCEN 0285 (originally CZ = Collection of Zoology of Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales (= CZ-FaCEN), Universidad Nacional de Asunción, San Lorenzo, Paraguay 
CommentAbundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). 
Etymologynamed after the Latin “rupes” = stone, in allusion to the habitat of the species.
