Comment | Only known from the holotype (fide BROADLEY & HOWELL 1991). Synonymy: The validity of this species is questioned by several authors, e.g. Berg 2017, although LOVERIDGE (1933), who examined the only specimen of I. tanganicana in London himself, is confident that I. tanganicana and I. bivittata are clearly distinguishable. Abundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. |
