Diagnosis | Diagnosis: Snout flattened anteriorly, somewhat wedge-shaped, the part visible above as long as internasal suture; nasals very large, broadly in contact mesially, the nostril in anterior lower part; a frontonasal; prefrontal present; frontoparietals separated; a vertical depression on each side just back of head; limbs absent; 18 scale-rows; head dark; body fawn to buff with two dark lines from occiput to end of tail; tip of tail blunt. Venter dark, the color extending well up on sides.
