Distribution: Not in Costa Rica fide SVAGE & BOLANOS 2009. 
EtymologyNamed after Greek micros (μικρός), small + Greek lepis (λεπίς), scale. [“...Readily distinguished from the other species of Lathrogecko by its minute dorsal scales...”]. (from Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., May 2024)
