Diagnosis | DIAGNOSIS: Leposternon kisteumacheri n.sp. is distinguished from all other Leposternon species by following combination of characters: (1) in life, bright yellow color pattern on dorsum and grayish white venter (uniformly grayish white in preservative); (2) presence of five series of large head shields; (3) two precloacal pores; (4) absence of supraocular, preocular, and infraocular shields.
