| Comment | Type species: Siaphos poilani BOURRET 1937 is the type species of the genus Leptoseps GREER 1997. Scincella can be distinguished from Leptoseps by the number of digits on the hindlimbs: five versus four, respectively (Greer 1997). Abundance: probably rare; only known from 2 specimens (Darevsky & Orlov 2005). |
