| Diagnosis | Diagnosis (n=6). Distinguished from all other Lerista by the unique combination of the following characters: 18 midbody scale rows; eyelid moveable; forelimb entirely absent; hindlimb with two toes; two supraciliaries, separated from each other by the supraoculars (Fig. 6). | Etymology | Named after 'Kari Chigara Changgala', meaning 'no-leg lizard' in the Tagalaka language, referring to the species' lack of forelimbs.
