Comment	Limb morphology: 0 digits, 1 toes Distribution: for a map of localities see Zimny et al. 2025: 527 (Fig. 1).
Etymology	Named after Karl Patterson Schmidt (1890-1957), American herpetologist who worked at the American Museum of Natural History in New York and later at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago.
