DiagnosisDiagnosis: The species differs from all other known Leristain the following combination of character states: nasals in moderately broad contact; supraoculars three; loreal single; only one supraciliary (the posteriormostof the primitive Lerista series); forelimb absent; hindlimb monodactyl or stylar; midbody scale rows 16, and a distinct lateral brown stripe.
