Distribution	Australia (Queensland) Type locality: near beach north of mouth of McIver River, QLD [15°07'S 145°15'E].

Diagnosis	Diagnosis: A very small, very pale, slender Lerista with 4 fingers, 4 toes, immovable eyelid (a spectacle) and sharp-edged dark upper lateral stripe, differing from L. zonulata and L. orientalis in its lesser size, paler coloration (especially white lower lateral and ventral surfaces), fewer supraciliaries (4 or 5, v. normally 5), fewer midbody scale rows (mostly 18, v. mostly 20) and smaller nasals and frontoparietals. (Storr 1991)
Comment	Type Species: Lerista ingrami Storr, G.M. (1991 is the type species of the genus Spectrascincus WELLS 2012: 281. WELLS 2012: 47 erected this genus for the species S. ingrami, orientalis, and zonulatus. Unfortunately WELLS did not provide a phylogenetic analysis of the genera into which he broke up Lerista, hence we leave the current genus Lerista intact for the time being. Abundance: only known from the type locality (Meiri et al. 2017). Limb morphology: 4 digits, 4 toes
