CommentSynonymy: CEI 1993 shows Liolaemus signifer annectens but says it is a synonym of L. multiformis (plate 15). 
EtymologyNamed after Latin annectens, to tie or bind to, to connect, annex. [“...This species is very nearly related to Liolaemus multiformis, Cope, ... The two species establish a passage from Liolaemus to Ctenoblepharis, especially through C. Jamesii Blgr. ...”]. (from Esteban Lavilla, pers. comm., May 2024)
