TypesHolotype: MNHNC (= MNHNCL) 5245, macho conservado en Etanol absoluto al 95%. Colectado en Laguna Verde, (38°12'58"S, 71°44'09"E, 1.570 msnm), Parque Nacional Tolhuaca, Región de la Araucanía, Chile, el 9 de noviembre de 2014.

CommentSympatry: L. tenuis, Pristidactylus torquatus, Tachymenis chilensis.

Synonymy: This new species was not accepted by TRONCOSO-PALACIOS et al. 2019.

Abundance: only known from its original description (Meiri et al. 2017). 
EtymologyNamed after its occurrence in the Parque Nacional Tolhuaca.
