Type locality: “Cuesta de Fundiciones, a 42 km al este de Minas Pirquitas (22° 41’ S, 66° 31’ W), Dpto. Rincanada, 4150 m” elevation.

Comment 
EtymologyNamed after Greek chloros (χλωρός), green, greenish-yellow, pale green + G. stiktos (στικτός), marked with spots, dappled. [“...dorsalmente negruzco con escamas aisladas y grupos de 2 hasta 7 escamas de color celeste, dando la apariencia de una puntuación clara sobre fondo obscuro...”].
