Diagnosis | Diagnosis: Adult males of Liolaemus olongasta differ from all other specIes in the L. darwinii complex, except L. laurenti and L. darwinii in having intensly dark pigment within the antehumeral fold. From L. darwinii, L. koslowskyii, and L. abaucan, it differs in lacking dark, conspicuously enlarged prescapular and postscapular spots. From L. laurenti (and from all other members ofthe.co~plex), it differs in having a bold pattern of two dark bars separated by whIte pigment, extending out from the antehumeral fold onto the anterior surface of the forelimb (Etheridge 1993: 168).
