Diagnosis 
CommentConservation: Has not been seen since 1982 (fide ETHERIDGE 2000) and may therefore be in great danger of extinction. Belongs to the wiegmanni group of Liolaemus.

Abundance: Rare. This is one of the species called 'lost' and 'rediscovered' by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyNamed after M. Rabino, who collected the holotype (1972).
