Distribution	N Chile Type locality: “una faja a 50-70 km al este de San Pedro de Atacama (22° 55’ S; 68°12’ W)” (in error fide D. Pincheira-Donoso, pers. comm. 26 May 2017; the correct locality is 23° 19’ 18.6’’ S, 67° 48’ 30.0’’ W).

Types	Holotype: MZUC 2063 (Mus. Zool. Univ. Nac. Concepción); neotype: FML 1192 (fide Langstroth 2021).
Diagnosis
Comment	Known from a single specimen which is in very bad condition, hence its validity remains unclear (D. Pincheira-Donoso, pers. comm., 23 May 2017). Not listed as valid member of Chilean Liolaemus by Demangel 2016. Considered as a synonym of Liolaemus andinus by some authors (see www.mma.gob.cl). Distribution: see map in Langstroth 2021: 124 (Fig. 6).
