Type locality: northeastern shore of Laguna del Toro (= Laguna Barra Tom Curá), 7 km south, 3.5 km east Cerro Mesa, Departamento Collón Curá, Provincia del Neuquén, Argentina (ca. -40.3158, -70.4142 fide RD Sage, pers. comm. 2 Oct 2020).
