DistributionFrom Misima Island west across the north coast of Papua New Guinea, looping around south of the central mountain ranges near Etna bay, Irian Jaya; Fergusson, Trobriand Islands

EtymologyApparently named after the (relatively) long head, from Latin “-ceps” = head.
