DiagnosisDescription: SVL 43.9–49.9 mm; external ear opening present; 22–24 midbody scale rows; seven supralabials; 53–58 longitudinal scale rows between parietals and tail base; and 19– 21 lamellae under toe IV (from DAS & AUSTIN 2007).

EtymologyNamed after Dr. Carl Gottfried Semper (1832-1893), an anatomist, ethnologist, and zoologist.
