Distribution	Australia (New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia) apparently not along the coast. Type locality: Charlotte Waters, Northern Territory.

Etymology	Named after P. M. "Paddy" Byrne, an Australian telegraph official living in frontier settlements hundreds of kilometers from the nearest Europeans.
