DiagnosisDIAGNOSIS. Closely allied to rufozonatum from which it differs chiefly in having yellow instead of red cross-bands. (Pope 1928)

CommentDistribution: possibly in Yunnan (China) but records from there are questionable (Wang et al. 2022).

Behavior: nocturnal.

Synonymy: D. r. meridionale was synonymized with D. flavozonatum by SMITH 1943 and again by Li et al. 2025.

Etymology: Dinodon rufozonatum meridionale was named after Latin meridionalis, southern, from the south, meridonal.
