CommentHabitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). 
EtymologyNamed after the Latin adjective inornatus = unadorned, supposedly making reference to the rather uniform and inconspicuous pattern of this snake, compared to other related species. No Etymology given in the original description.
