CommentHabitat: fully arboreal (Harrington et al. 2018). 
EtymologyApparently named in reference to another species of Lycodryas, L. granuliceps, to which this species is morphologically similar. The epithet is composed of the Greek adjective ψευδής (pseudis = false) and the epithet granuliceps (derived from Latin granuli, granule and Latin -ceps, -headed). No Etymology given in the original description.
