DistributionAngola, N/S/E Democratic Republic of the Congo (Zaire), Congo (Brazzaville), Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, W Tanzania, Republic of South Sudan (RSS), Cameroon (Broadley 1992), Nigeria.

DiagnosisDiagnosis: Postnasal usually separated from first supralabial. Dorsal scales with single apical pits, in 17-17- 17 rows; ventrals 179-198 in males, 188-206 in females; subcaudals 41-52 in males, 34-46 in females (Broadley 1996: 16).
