Distribution	Argentina (Buenos Aires) Type locality: Sierra de la Ventana, Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Types	Holotype: lost, was MLP, a 630 mm female (J. Koslowsky and N. Alboff, 1890), apparently lost fide J. Williams in Dixon, 1985: 571.

Comment	Synonymy after CEI 1993. Rhadinaea anomala was synonymized with Rhadinaea elegantissima by AMARAL 1926: 17.
