DiagnosisDIAGNOSIS. Dorsal tubercles oval, keeled; diameter of ear opening smaller than half of longitudinal diameter of eye ; no more than 90 GVA; scales and plates of tail as well as scales of upper front surfaces of limbs with distinct keels. (SZCZERBAK & GOLUBEV 1996: 176)

CommentSynonymy: Cyrtopodion dehakroense is conspecific with Mediodactylus sagittifer (ČERVENKA & KRATOCHVIL 2010, NAZAROV et al 2012). NAZAROV et al 2012: 298 also say (a bit confusingly) that dehakroense is a junior synonym of C. brevipes.

Habitat: trees.

Distribution: See map in SMID et al. 2014 for distribution in Iran.

Etymology (dehakroense): Named after its type locality. 
EtymologyNamed after Latin sagittifer, arrow-bearing; armed with arrows, apparently for the arrow shaped dorsal pattern.
