Comment | Synonymy fide RÖSLER 2000. Has been synonymized with Gymnodactylus stoliczkai by SMITH 1935. Illustration: Figure 4 in KHAN (2003) doesn’t show T. indusoani as indicated but T. walli. Types: A likely paratype (BMNH 1922.5.22.1) of Gymnodactylus walli is not conspecific with the holotype but most morphologically similar to Cyrtopodion tibetanus (Boulenger 1905). |
Etymology | Named after Dr. Frank Wall (1868-1950), a physician and herpetologist, who was born in Ceylon (now Sri Lanka). |
