TypesHolotype: MCZ R-40323 
DiagnosisDiagnosis. Differs from Meizodon regularis in fewer ventrals (166- 176, instead of 175-203) and light colouration of the venter, from M. coronatus and M. regularis in 26 or more maxillary teeth (instead of 19-23).

Coloration: Uniform olive-brown, lip scales lighter, ventrals centrally light, dark at the edges. 
CommentKnown from only 2 specimens collected in 1934 (Spawls et al. 2018).
