| Diagnosis | Diagnosis: Alarge species, which may be distinguished from its congeners by the presence of a small crescentic nasal separating the nostril from the first labial and a posteriorly displaced postnasal which at least partially separates the supranasal from the first labial (Fig. 1). The counts for midbody scale rows (24-28) and ventrals (152-168) are the highest recorded for the genus. The only subcaudal counts available are 42 and 47.
