Comment	Subspecies that of GANS 1967. LAURENT (1956) suggested bulsi may be a full species. Both Broadley 1976 and Gans 2005 listed bulsi as synonym of scalper though. The type locality was originally given as ‘‘Angola’’.
Etymology	Named after Latin scalper, a sharp cutting instrument, chisel, knife. ["...Anterior margin of the nasal extremity hard and sharp…"].
