Type locality: ‘‘Lukulu près de Kiambi’’, Democratic Republic of the Congo.  
Reproductionoviparous (not imputed, fide Zimin et al. 2022)

CommentAbundance: this is one of the species called “lost” and “rediscovered” by Lindken et al. 2024. 
EtymologyNamed after David L. Remacle, who collected fish (1932) and reptiles from the River Lukulu area.
