Type locality: Papua New Guinea, Western Province, Emeti [−7.8547° 143.2451°].  
Reproduction 
TypesHolotype. USNM 325059, adult male, collected by Fred Parker on 1 November 1971 (Figure 34).
Paratypes. Adult males, USNM 195757, 325063, and adult females, USNM 325061–062, 325066, with same collecting data as holotype.

EtymologyThe specific name derives the Latin inundatus in reference to the origin of the species’ landscape development from repeated flooding by the region’s rivers, especially the Fly River.
