Type locality: Colombia, Vaupes, Cano Monserero, tributary of Cano Ti. The collection site is approximately 5 km WSW airline distance from Mitú, capitol of the Comisaria del Vaupes.

TypesHolotype: ICN-MHN (also as ICN) = Instituto de Ciencias Naturales, (ICN-4525, adult male. Collected 24 April 1979, by W. W. Lamar.
